This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
well then...seems i'll be back in the game before too long...i have a few ideas roastin' up at the moment, and hopefully they'll actually see completion...
Funny how you seem to think that male empowerment means exposing your ideas in a intelligent and opinionated fashion, and female empowerment means exposing your genitalia to strangers.
It's not funny at all. I never said a word about male empowerment, and anything anyone expesses is nothing more than opinion. Furthermore, I never said that exposed genitalia was the sole method by which a woman shows her power, only in the context of the art presented. That's all that needs to be said about it.
True, you didn't say that explicitely. But my comment on that lady's page was about the nature of her posting - close-ups of female genitalia with little meaning behind them.
Wouldn't it be empowering for a guy to post pictures of his body and his friends', too? I'm sure you wouldn't agree. You'd point your finger at it and call it gay.
Since I'm going to make assumptions, I'll go all the way and suppose you're a heterosexual male, and as such you see the female human body as something extraordinary.
Truth is, it ain't. It's people like this lady putting the human body on an ivory pedestral like this that has made society perceive us as some kind of holy species uncapable of doing any wrong. Non-humans, in other words.
I need not say that when a woman - specially a "perfect" one - makes a mistake, like any human, the crowd calls out for her blood. A bit like how when a guy farts it's manly, but when a woman does it, guys act all shocked.
A female's body is not any more or less special than a male's. They are not any more "inspiring" or "marvelous". It has intestines with poop inside them, just like a guy, and all sorts of other icky, non-glamorous things. Unfortunatly many people have been lead to think like you, and this has lead to a dehumanization of women.
one at a time: True, you didn't say that explicitely. But my comment on that lady's page was about the nature of her posting - close-ups of female genitalia with little meaning behind them. Her gallery has more than that, and being as your comment was on her main gallery page on not on one image in particular, i figured it was a mass comment on the content as a whole. being as the female body was the subject on the table, i didn't bother including the males.
Wouldn't it be empowering for a guy to post pictures of his body and his friends', too? I'm sure you wouldn't agree. You'd point your finger at it and call it gay. matter of fact, no, i wouldn't. would you have felt better if i'd said "human body" instead of "female body"? looking further down the post, i see the answer is no, right? no matter, point is, i'm completely comfortable in my sexuality, and seeing a penis or several doesn't make me blow a gasket, especially in some form of art or another. i see the female body as something beautiful, sensual, etc., but admittedly not divine or supernatural. my views only indicate that women are those things i said they are, and they most certainly are, the same as a male's might be to a woman or even another man. holding the human form in high regard is not something to criticize people for. and i'm the last guy who would think that women do no wrong, so don't lump me in with that lot.
the farting thing...wtf...

Unfortunatly many people have been lead to think like you, and this has lead to a dehumanization of women. again, the male form wasn't the subject at hand, therefore nothing to offer on that at that time. also, i'm pretty sure that, with the exception of the snuff genre, guts and such are not even a consideration in a debate as to whether nudity is art or any similar topic. don't be so quick to think you've got me pegged by one comment on one subject. i can easily enough concede that there are those who are waaaayy out there as you suggest i am, but i hardly think one could so readily toss me into that pile without a longer, deeper exchange than has taken place. no, women should not be made out to appear above human error or infallible in any way, but they should also not be seen to have less power and stengths than they truly possess, one of them being the right to express their sexual power, which is well within the limits of being human.
